INFINITY

The essence of SPACEX paintings emerges from the profound intersection of technology and religion, embodying the seductive promises of redemption, ecstasy, and salvation that both realms offer. At the heart of humanity's journey is a deep-rooted yearning towards the cosmos, a quest for the infinite that SpaceX symbolizes through its monumental strides in space exploration. This grand vision, reminiscent of religious fervor, is captured in my first series, "Infinite Dragon Hatch," which marks the beginning of a narrative that parallels the mythologies of space exploration with religious iconography. By incorporating gold leaf and halos, I draw visual and symbolic connections between the divine and the technological, echoing the sanctity found in Christian halos.

This intricate dialogue extends beyond the canvas, touching upon the transformative power of technology and its role in contemporary conflicts, such as Starlink's pivotal support for Ukraine. My Polish heritage, coupled with the stark realities of war, informs my perspective on technology's dual capacity for salvation and consequence. The parallels between Starlink and religious practices—how both serve as conduits for hope and communication in times of despair—fuel my artistic exploration, leading to a contemplation of technology's messianic potential.

My work is a meditation on the omnipresence and omniscience attributed to technology in our era, particularly AI, drawing a parallel to the divine. Through the creation of SpaceX antenna icons adorned with gold leaf and components from anathema receivers, I craft modern relics that question the identity of divinity in our technological age. This body of work not only reflects on the potential for a polytheistic technology but also serves as a testament to art's power to envision the future of faith, where the line between the sacred and the technological blurs, inviting us to ponder who, or what, might assume the role of God in this new pantheon.
